Crochet Resources

• Supergurumi :: Excellent crochet tutorials and plenty of free crochet patterns for cute characters of all sorts.
  • Crochet basics :: Categorized in reverse chronological order, so start at the bottom for the absolute basics of crochet, like how to hold your hook and yarn, each with detailed pictures of every step.
  • One Piece Crochet Doll Pattern :: No sewing required, this is a basic doll pattern that works up very quickly and doesn't use a ton of yarn. They show a fine/sport weight yarn, but it works just as well with worsted weight and a larger hook.
  • Mini noso doll :: Same idea as above, but smaller. As a general rule, smaller is harder, so if you're not confident in your amigurumi ability, start with the One Piece Crochet doll above first.
